Displaying Forum inside html or shtml page.
« on: January 25, 2007, 09:20:12 AM »
Hello,

Thanks for the script first of all. It's just what I was looking for, a small message board.

I have a little problem because further everything is running smoothly.

As the virtual includes didnt work for me as the messages where opening in wrong page I decided to use a iframe. Now in Firefox it works excellent but in IE it has white blackground thats not supposed to be there.

The site  can be found here: http://www.mopionradio.com/forum.html (it's the site of a friend)

Any advise?

Thanks in advance.

Eddie.

Odd indeed.  In your template for your forum, try adding

bgcolor="#000000"

to your <body> tag.  That might be the trick.  It's like IE is not inheriting the color, but only thing I can see.  Let us know if that works out!

Jason

ps-- Also on the static page, you may want to remove the @#@#@ tag for the forum.

I would take the <html>, <head> and <body> tags away from your forum template.  That's all I can think of here.

If I can get the background black for the *.pl file it's fine for me.

Now I removed almost all other code so only the forum remains.

Haha... I already figured out guys, It was easier then i thought. Just had to add the color to the body tag of the template.htm.

like:
Code: [Select]
<body bgcolor="#000000">
Maybe that was what Jason meant. ;D

 :o I should not make websites when having the flew!  :P

Thanks for the script and everything EZ and Jason!
